Ninjas staging an open attack on armed targets in broad daylight...in spite of the fact they're wearing gray ninja suits to match their surroundings on a battleship ("Ha! You can't see us, Jimmy Caan! We are NINJA!")...was quite ridiculous all by itself.

It's difficult to watch any kind of survival movie when I'm not able to root for the main character's survival.
Honestly, I'm not sure what the hold-up could be on the release of this score, seeing as how so many other early Eighties James Horner scores have made their way to CD, including Horner's magnificent score for Wolfen, which borrowed a few cues from his score for this movie. https://youtu.be/ccQGpFsnDfo
I have around ten film scores on my wish list of soundtrack CDs that have yet to be released. Here's the first one of those I've made a CD cover for. Not sure if a soundtrack release is forthcoming, but, as I said, it's a wish list.
